My name is Gwen Bain, and I was born and raised in Westbury, New York. I am married to Roger Bain, and together we have a blended family of five children—three of mine and two of his.

 

I hold a bachelor's degree in marketing management and a master's degree in human resources. Professionally, I work in Business Continuity, where I help companies build resilience by anticipating and preparing for events that could impact people, assets, or operations.

 

As I reflect on my life and the book I’ve written, I can’t help but see the parallels between the resilience I’ve developed over the years and the work I do. It’s through my relationship with God and my trust in Him that I’ve found the courage to share my story.
